Specifically designed for the South African market, the Nissan Juke Midnight Edition will be sold as a limited edition model in 2013. Adding some funk and appeal to the already popular Juke range, the Midnight Edition is treated to daring new styling and accessories.
The Midnight Edition is based on the formidable Nissan Juke Tekna with its 1.6-litre DIG-T turbocharged petrol motor, with the new styling package to set it apart from the standard model. The enhancements include sporty black 17-inch alloy wheels as well as red or black spoilers and door mirrors that complement the Midnight Edition’s body colour.
The sportier front spoiler plate is and tinted with anti-smash-and-grab treatment for all the windows are also new additions to the car’s design. The black-on-black wheels give the Midnight Edition a very dramatic aesthetic, which is certain to attract those who are already enticed by the Juke’s bold styling.
As already mentioned, the Midnight Edition is based on the current range-topping Tekna, which produces 140Kw of power and 240Nm of torque output, and personifies the performance and sporty spirit of the Juke. The global sales of the Juke have now reached over 300 000 units since the Nissan’s launch, due in part to the individuality and distinctiveness that the Juke embodies compared to other vehicles in the same class. Due to the very high levels of popularity and demand, Nissan South Africa will be receiving an increased supply of the Juke over the Christmas period.
